A “pebble” in Catalonia is a rock rounded by the effect of sea water. If you look at the right side of the photo, there are quite a few rocks that have been rounded by the effect of sea waves over the centuries. That is why this cove is called codolar, plural of codol in Catalan.
Location: Tossa de Mar, Catalonia, Southern Europe.
