Close-up of a yellow cactus flower. These flowers are rarely seen because they only last a couple of days. They open early in the morning without warning and close at night. The second day they are no longer as fresh as the first and they usually do not open again and fall dry after a few days. This photograph was taken on the first day of its flowering.
